Get to Know Your Neighbors

Contact organizations and agencies that may be able to provide information, assistance or support. These include state agencies like the wildlife or water quality agency, local, regional and national environmental and conservation organizations, and federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency. One good way to locate the names of individuals and organizations who share your interest in a particular area is to see who commented on any draft EIS or land use plan for the area. Comments are usually printed in the back of the final EIS.
