Don't Be Intimidated

Don’t be afraid to tell FS what is bothering you about the agency’s management decisions. You don’t need to be a wildlife biologist or a hydrologist or a lawyer to insist that something is wrong. If the area looks bad, say so! Protecting water quality, fish and wildlife habitat, scenery, recreation, and aesthetic values are among BLM/FS’s most important legal duties. These are your lands and resources. You have a right to participate in decisions about how they are managed.
