Dear Bureau of Land Management (BLM),

Your agency oversees gas leasing and drilling on federal lands if the public’s gas is being extracted.

Please implement regulations on our National Forests that will require companies drilling for federal gas to:

·     Disclose the contents of their fracking fluids to protect public health

·    Remove contaminated water from the drilling site and reuse it at the next site to limit water use (the closed loop system)

·     Stop using  open pits for wastewater

·     Submit a water management plan to the BLM.

·     Insure that the well casing remains intact to protect out water  supplies using the latest technologies and test the cement bond around the casing.
